CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK
The researchers decided to utilize the findings of Swain et al. (2014) on the time interval of the experiment wherein the plant is subjected to phytoremediation. The independent variable of this study is the duration of P. hederaceum in the solution: 24 hours, 6 days, 9 days, and 15 days. Following the phytoremediation, this study aimed to discover the concentration of copper left in the aqueous solution and the plant tissue after the dilution of P. hederaceum in the copper solution.
